From September to our midterm break
It has been a very busy time here at St. Fergal’s. The classes from Junior Infants to 6th have been settling in and there are amazing art displays along our corridors.
In September we were very excited to support our past pupil Katie Taylor as she had the final fight of her career on the 5th of September at Croke Park. RTÉ came to visit us and some pupils were interviewed to express their admiration for the World Champion’s dedication and hard work in her sport.
All of the new Early Start (preschool) children have been settling in very well. You will see photos of the new friends having fun together and apple picking in the beautiful school garden.
Maths week took place from 10th to the 18th October 2026. We decided to work with our buddy classes and have some Numeracy fun with them this week. Take a look at some of the fun we had – there are photos of Ms. Cannon’s 3rd class and their buddies from Ms. Keyes Senior Infants class having great fun together on a maths trail!
Our annual Halloween Assembly and Dress Up day will take place on Friday. We are all busy rehearsing our October Assembly song Hubble Bubble. Spooktacular photos will follow…..
We would like to wish everyone in our school community a safe and Happy Halloween break.
