Be well month
January is be well month in our school. Nutrition is our topic for this week.
Children from Ms Brady’s Second Class surveyed 14 classes last week about their favourite fruit , drink and sport. Below some of these children present their findings at assembly.
We found out that apples, water and swimming are our favourites with baton twirling, pears and diluted drinks among our least favourites.
Next week we will focus on yoga and mindfulness with Ms Cawley.
Internet Safety Talk
Many thanks to Dermot O'Brien who gave a special, very interactive, talk to the 6th classes here about how to use the internet in a safer manner.

We had an amazing Christmas Raffle this year with a total of 69 winners! A huge thanks to all of the Parents Association who helped to organise it and the following local business who helped donate the fabulous prizes we had on offer this year.

Bee Bots in 3rd Class
We had fun giving instructions to the Bee Bots. We programmed them to travel in different directions and to move from one point to another on the town map.
Irish Dancing
Senior Infants began their Irish Dancing with our fantastic teacher Claire yesterday and they have remembered loads from their time practising in Junior Infants
Fighting Words
Mr Creamer's class had a fantastic time on their Fighting Words trip.
Bray Drugs Awareness Month Art Competition

Children in 2nd Class attended a writing workshop in Glencree today. This project was founded by Roddy Doyle and children were creatively inspired by fantastic fascilitators , illustrators and authors on the day. Take a look below at the energy among our budding authors!

Fair Play
Today Conor and John from the Sports Promotion unit presented 60 children with their certificates. All of these children from 2nd Class took part in the Fair Play Programme and learned about honesty, playing fairly respect and anger management. Well done to all!
First Class Tour - The Zoo
